(HR person name),
I find quite unacceptable that I have not been paid for working as an (designation/hospital) having been appointed by the deanery. the matter is compounded by the fact that there has been no communication from your office to say that a solution is being organised neither have I been provided any communication about the job that I accepted on 9date) and started working for on the (date). I have left multiple voice messages at medical personnel office and also emailed the deanery medical personnel office on multiple occasions (a copy of a previous email below) but these have been to no avail. I understand from some of my colleagues that this lack of communication is not an isolated case either.
I spoke to payroll in (hospital) (tel no / person) who inform me that the impediment in payment being made is the fact that your office has not provided them with details of the payment to make.
Thus the lack of payment for work I have diligently performed will result in me ending up in a situation where I may not be able to make my financial commitments.. I situation that has never arisen in over 5 years that I have worked for the NHS..
As before I find this unacceptable. I'm thus writing again to yourself to kindly rectify the situation so that i can get paid and make my financial commitments. Should I not get paid over the following few days, I shall have no option but to recourse to talking legal advise and writing to senior members of the deanery to inform them of the current situation I (and some of my colleagues) find ourselves in. I have also emailed (name), Director of human resources and (name) Medical Personnel Manager with copies of this email.
I shall also be making a claim for 48% per annum interest (the equivalent of borrowing from my credit card to cover financial deficits created by your lack of payment) pro rata for every day from (date) (expected pay date) until the day (date) I get paid. I shall also be charging for any financial penalties I might incur as a result of loss of revenue and from the I shall be charging (appropriate rate - eg £50 per hour) (my usual locum rates) for time utilised writing emails and making phonecalls (which I will ofcourse provide a log for) enabling the payment of my earnings.
Of course since this is almost a matter of principle as well as of financial loss, if need be I will take this matter to the Small Claims court or any other legal instituition as advised by legal council. Should I need to employ the service of a lawyer to claim my right, I shall also be putting that into the claim from the deanery.
I shall await your reply,
Kind regards,
B Roy Chaudhary
